Japan has once again been shaken by a massive earthquake. The situation has become so bad that the sea level in the earthquake-affected province has reached dangerous levels.
Japan's NHK broadcaster said a tsunami warning had also been issued for Niigata, Toyama, Yamagata, Fukui and Hyogo prefectures along the Sea of Japan coast.
According to NHK, tsunami waves up to 1.2 meters high have reached the city of Wajima in Ishikawa, while waves up to 40 centimeters high have reached the city of Kashizawaki.
Earlier in 2011, an earthquake of 9.1 magnitude occurred in Japan on the morning of March 11. The tsunami that followed submerged almost 70 percent of Japan's area under water in half an hour.
