‘Sam Bahadur’ movie of Vicky Kaushal has been released in theatres today, December 1.

This movie is based on the real-life of Sam Manekshaw, Former Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army, who was renowned for his bravery.

Set against the backdrop of the India-Pakistan War of 1971, Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw led the Indian Army from the front for the liberation of Bangladesh.

‘Sam Bahadur’ has made by a budget of 55 crore. It is directed by Meghna Gulzar, who co-wrote with Bhavani Iyer and Shantanu Srivastava.

Sam Bahadur is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, under the banner of RSVP Movies. This is the 3rd movie of Vicky Kaushal and he is known for the serious roles.

Vicky Kaushal in the role of Field marshal Sam Manekshaw and Sanya Malhotra as Siloo Manekshaw, Sam’s wife.

Sam Bahadur has been released on 3000 screens. In Hindi around 1,03,000 tickets have been sold in advance booking so far.

The budget of this film is 55 crore, and on its first day, this film is going earn 6 crore from India.
